Special on infant feeding in Babies and more

A few days ago we have offered you a summary guide of complementary feeding (part I) and (part II) indicating the age of introduction of food into the children's diet.

This guide is the starting point of our Special on infant feeding. It will serve as a basis for talking in detail about each of the foods that make up the diet of babies from six months, which is when they begin to supplement milk with new flavors.

We will talk about the food groups that make up the children's diet: cereals, fruits, vegetables, fish, eggs, meat, legumes and milk and their derivatives.

We will offer detailed information on the main foods of each group such as rice, chicken, apple, hake, lentils or yogurt, to name a few of the most common. We will discuss the age of introduction, the characteristics of each food, its nutritional value and give some suggestions on how to prepare them.

We hope our Special on infant feeding be useful to know better the foods that make up the children's diet and to offer your children a more varied and therefore healthier diet. Do not lose eye.
