New vaccines, hexavalent and pneumococcal

For three years they are being developed, by pediatricians of the Maternal and Child Hospital of Malaga some new vaccines, the hexavalent (combined vaccine preparation) and a new variant of the current vaccine pneumococcal, suitable to prevent pathologies such as pneumonia or pneumococcal meningitis among others. With them it is intended to obtain greater efficacy in children and reduce the adverse reactions that sometimes occur when administering said vaccines.

The new hexavalent vaccine may prevent diseases such as Haemophilus type B, whooping cough or hepatitis B among others. In addition, the amount of punctures that are usually performed when administering vaccines will be reduced, which will benefit the little ones. The new vaccine has been made using new preparations that have been treated and purified in order to avoid adverse reactions such as rashes, fever, allergies, pain, etc. In addition, this type of vaccine allows better control when parents review which vaccines they have to give to the little ones.

At the moment the results obtained in 30 children have been satisfactory, but there is still a way to go to finalize and finalize these vaccines. It will be a new medical advance that will provide greater security for both the little ones and the parents.
