A very galactic snack for children

When we were children, they always said to us: "Child! With food you don't play!" There is not the world to splurge food as well), but you can have fun, and especially children, playing and experimenting with food.

A fun idea to make fruit more enjoyable for children can be to disguise it a little. I found this nice picture of a Apple disguised as Yoda from Star Wars.

You can make this recipe with the help of your children, so they will want to eat the apple later!

To make this apple you need:

  • 1 green apple
  • 2 chocolate chips
  • peanut butter
  • 1 stick

To make the swords edible laser swords you need:

  • 2 pretzel sticks (or any other stick-shaped cookie)
  • melted chocolate
  • colored sugar (If you do not have at home you can prepare it as I explain here)

Process

  1. We cut the apple by its base so that it is flat and can sit. With the piece that we have cut, we make the ears, the eyelids and the mouth. To make the ears in the shape of a pointed triangle we will use a knife (this part should be done by an adult).
  2. To make the eyes, we will put a couple of round pieces of apple (white part in front) with a couple of chocolate chips. To glue the eyes and ears, we will use peanut butter, it is a perfect food glue.
  3. To make the laser swords, we will bathe 2/3 of the stick in melted chocolate and while it is still wet, sprinkle them with the colored sugar.
