We have read at home the book pack of The puppies which have been released on the occasion of the premiere of the movie 'The Cubs and the Marco Polo Code'. They are based on the Cuccioli de Serigio and Francesco Manfio series, and published in Spain by the Edebé group.
In the main book the protagonist friends must face the perverse charms of Corneja that always has the will of Cuncún and Cambaluc (although his minions do not serve him much in practice).
Four more volumes come to complete this series of children's stories that can be bought loose or together, you will find them on this website. Although I already warn you that due to the success of the recent release of the film, you can no longer find 'the puppies and the Marco Polo code' in individual format, although as part of the pack of five books.
What we liked the most is that They are very easy to read and children love to meet some of their favorite television characters. Portable, Unnamed, Diva, Cylinder, Pius and Oly are always together (despite the peculiarities that - sometimes - seem to separate them) against the witch's misdeeds.
If in the main book they must find 'the Marco Polo code' and the existence of an underground palace is discovered, in 'the impostor divas' the Corneja helpers are turned by this into two alternative 'divas' that aim to seduce Cylinder .
When the witch pretends that the night reigns eternally, she does it because she aspires to be the most powerful, fortunately the Cubs end up finding a way to destroy their plans, it is in 'the curse of the eternal night'. When you read 'the puppies and the potion of oblivion' you may wish that Diva, Oly, Cilindro and Pío recover their memory, but you should not worry because everything is finally resolved.
And finally in 'the snakes of discord' Corneja is one step away from getting enemy to all the inhabitants of Venice, sowing the discord between them, what will happen?
