"Ask me a wish before bed" stories about children with cancer

Although this book has been published for some time, I have known it recently on the occasion of a new presentation. "Ask me for a wish before bed" is a book of stories starring children with cancer and their families

This is a book of solidarity, because the benefit obtained from its sale will be transferred to the association ASPANION (Association of Parents of Children with Cancer of the Valencian Community), an entity that is part of the Spanish Federation of Parents of Children with Cancer and offers a program of psycho-social and economic support to children with cancer and their families.

The book is a 14 story collection by María José Díaz, illustrated by Aitana Carrasco, Miguel Calatayud, Micharmut, Raquel Catalina, Sento Llobell, Rafa Fontériz, among others. Josep Carreras has participated in this work writing the prologue of the book, and notes that the author:

María José Díaz manages that each one of the stories transmits, without hiding the rawness of its effects, the power of illusion and love as central axes of the disease experience, understood as a process of struggle and hope, even when the outcome is goodbye.

A difficult issue that undoubtedly, in the form of a story that approximates them sensitively and sensitively to this, can help children who suffer from the disease or have a family member in that situation.

The truth is that for a cause of solidarity deserves to rescue this "Ask me a wish before bed" stories about children with cancer which includes titles such as "The Gladiator," "The Dancer," or "A rainbow with a comet's tail." These are some of the stories contained in the book, each accompanied by a special illustration.
