Highlights in Babies and more: from July 4 to 10

Like every Monday, we review the most outstanding contents that have been published in Babies and more during the past week.

In our Special Traveling with children we have talked about accommodation to go with the little ones, information that will surely be useful for your next family vacation. All tips to stay in hotels and apartments as well as in campsites and rural houses.

A fairly controversial issue that we have discussed in the blog in recent days is that of homeopathy for babies. We have wondered why it does not work and even why it does not work even when “my child works” (I) and (II). Armando has made an interesting video of his "homeopathic suicide" to demonstrate that homeopathy does not work and has analyzed why homeopathic medicines are sold, despite that.

Changing the subject completely, we have commented that the little ones know our mood. New research states that babies perceive that we are sad.

We have also talked about a new format for the controversial Estivill method, "Go to sleep!", Which has been presented for iPhone and iPod, an application that many would never buy available on the App Store at 1.59 euros.

Following the recommendation of the Ministry of Health to pregnant women and children not to eat bluefin tuna or emperor, we have wondered what fish can be eaten during pregnancy.

Regarding the toxins that accumulate in fish, we have also mentioned how the contamination is affecting breast milk and the quality of the semen of the baby, a very interesting topic that we will certainly touch again later.

Regarding risks for the little ones, we have wondered if it is dangerous to have a dog if you have a baby, concluding that both can coexist perfectly if appropriate measures are taken.

Finally, we have talked about a very educational game for both girls and boys, which is to play kitchens and how children can give free rein to their culinary passions through symbolic play.

Stay tuned, because this week we will tell you many more interesting things in Babies and more.
