Babies of women who have had precocious puberty are at greater risk of being obese

Obesity can have many causes. Some genetic and others associated with an unhealthy lifestyle.

Television, bad eating habits, poor practice can be some of the reasons that encourage it, but new studies come out every day that indicate that the possible causes could also be others.

The last one that has come to light is an investigation by the University of Cambridge that associates a new factor with the probable origins of obesity.

According to scientists, Children of mothers who have had precocious puberty tend to be more prone to obesity.

They found that women whose first menstrual period had reached very early ages, at age 11 or earlier, had children shorter and thicker than average.

They observed that, in general, in early childhood children grew very fast but then became overweight and, like their mothers, had an early puberty.

Although so much scientific study can sometimes make us dizzy a little, the efforts of researchers to try to decipher the true reasons for obesity are always welcome, a very serious problem that affects millions of children in the world, mainly in the States United and Europe, which are reaching alarming figures.
