The experiment that shows that children are clear about salary equality

The children are clear that they and they should receive the same reward for the same job. This is demonstrated by this experiment conducted by the Norwegian financial group Finans Forbundet on the occasion of Women's Day to draw attention to the wage gap between men and women.

Although the Nordic countries are close to full equality, gender disparities are a reality globally. But the children they don't see a reason for gender inequality in gender, and its reaction is the simplest and logical.

The experiment consists in giving each boy-girl couple the same job: they have to pick up pink and blue balls and place those of each color inside a container. Both collaborate to carry out the work together, regardless of the color of the balls that each one chose. Once finished, they receive a boat with treats as compensation for their "work."

But what happens? The boy's boat is full of jelly beans while the girl's boat has a lot less. When they are told the reason, that receive less reward for being girls, his surprise is capital, and they even comment that "that's not fair."

Fortunately, children are very clear about equal pay, and when noticing the injustice, they distribute the goodies with their companions equalizing the amount. Adults accept a situation that children clearly see as unfair. Once again, the little ones give us a great lesson.
