Books to discover art

Painting, modeling, drawing are fundamental activities in the process of development and maturity of children and that gives them much pleasure.

Bringing children closer to art is a fundamental part in the construction of thought. A visit to the museum provides them with an aesthetic experience that benefits their intellectual development ... Direct contact with the works facilitates an affective and sensory contact with artistic creations, encourages an open and active attitude in children, building a critical look and, fundamentally, creative towards the environment.

If this approach to art is done in a playful way, they will find it more attractive and unforgettable.

To facilitate this task the Ediciones Serres has a collection of books that aim to arouse artistic interest in children through reading. Among the story books we can find some titles such as Camille and sunflowers, Picasso and Silvette, The Magic Garden of Claude Monet. There are also some who tell us about the masters of painting: Miguel Angel, Chagall, Van Gogh, Goya ... and others about museums such as Mateo walking through the Prado Museum.

All written in a simple and familiar way for the understanding of the little ones and with very attractive illustrations. I thought they were a fabulous collection.
